Great Blog! I agree with you on all your statements.

I am so distressed that R.Kelly seems to be getting nods of approval from many black people. I guess that means he and others will do what he did – but more often.

Does the reverse hold true? Alaska is over 60% male…are there more gay men in Alaska? Should gay men be allowed to drill for oil? Does the number of gay men drilling for oil have an impact on the moose population? Is that why they needed that bridge to nowhere?

Interesting… “the lack of black men” argument has been made in virtually every community–just fill the word in BLACK with whichever group you are talking about.

Here in the south, it is Old-Style Southern Christian Men (white, by default) who aren’t holding up their side of the bargain, aren’t Godly, abdicating their family-responsibilities, turning women to… (((dramatic pause)))) OTHER WOMEN! (Dr Dobson loves that one!)

Who thought it was THAT easy? And to think that when I was brought up in the 60s, they said lesbianism was caused by softball!
